Eligibility Criteria: Education & Experience Requirements

• Para Cook: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized Board or University. Additionally, applicants must hold a degree or diploma in any trade from a Government-approved Hotel Management Institute, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), or Food Production Institute. Alternatively, candidates possessing a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in cooking or catering from any recognized Government or private institution are eligible to apply.
• Para Helper: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) from a Board or University recognized by the Government of Himachal Pradesh or the Central Government. No prior culinary certification is mandated for the helper role.

Age Limit & Permissible Relaxations

Applicants must be between 18 to 45 years of age as on the cutoff date of 07 November 2026. Age relaxation benefits for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen) apply strictly in accordance with prevailing Himachal Pradesh State Government service norms.

Remuneration & Service Conditions

The selected personnel will be engaged on a contractual honorarium basis to support the operational and catering requirements of departmental inspection huts, rest houses, or field establishments in Reckong Peo.

• Para Cook: Fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 9,000 per month.
• Para Helper: Fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 5,500 per month.

These appointments are contractual in nature and do not carry entitlement to regular state allowances, grade pay, or standard Dearness Allowance (DA) benefits applicable to regular civil services.

Selection Methodology & 10-Mark Evaluation System

There will be no written competitive examination for this recruitment. Selection will be executed entirely through an objective 10-mark merit and evaluation system, followed by practical verification of competencies.
